Commercial Motor & Fleet Insurance

For cars, 4WDs, utilities, vans, trucks less than 5 tonnes carrying capacity plus certain light mobile plant & equipment, we offer two types of cover:

Comprehensive Cover

Give your vehicles cover against accidental loss or damage that includes:
  • Accidental loss or damage to your motor vehicle.
  • Personal accident from an event
  • Emergency repairs, travel, and accommodation.
  • Towing and storage costs.
  • Removal of debris for non-dangerous goods.
  • Guarantee for authorised repairs against any defect due to workmanship or faulty material for the life of the insured vehicle.
  • 2 year new-for-old replacement if you are the first registered owner for certain vehicle types.
  • Hire vehicle in the event of theft.
  • Your legal liability for damage caused to another person’s property and personal injury caused by the insured vehicle, as well as legal costs (provided Compulsory Third Party does not apply).
  • Australia-wide claims service.
  • Cover for locks and keys.
  • Personal effects stolen/damaged in an event involving your vehicle.

Legal Liability Cover

Cover for your legal liability for damages includes:
  • Your legal liability for damage caused to another person’s property and personal injury caused by the insured vehicle, as well as legal costs (provided Compulsory Third Party Insurance does not apply).
  • Your legal liability for property damage or personal injury as a result of the insured vehicle carrying dangerous goods (we may allow limits to be increased, subject to payment of an extra premium).
  • Cover for damage to the insured vehicle caused by an uninsured driver, if you don't have Comprehensive cover and you are able to identify the driver responsible and their vehicle.
  • Comprehensive cover to protect your vehicles against accidental damage and loss.
  • Legal liability cover to protect you against damage caused to another person’s property and personal injury caused by your vehicles.

Heavy Motor Insurance

This specialised protection is available across a range of occupations, including general carriers, tippers, and building industry and equipment movers.

For heavy mobile machinery, or vehicles with a carrying capacity of over five tonnes we offer two types of cover:

Transport Package

Benefits including commercial motor insurance, public and products liability, marine insurance and business interruption insurance for operations with less than 15 items.

Fleet Package

Benefits including commercial motor insurance, public and products liability, marine insurance and business interruption insurance for operations with less than 15 items for operations with 15 items or more.
